Magnetic Testing

BJA Magnetics offers an array of testing equipment for your magnets' qualification. BJA offers up to date surface Gauss testing equipment. A Gauss meter discerns magnetic strength with a transverse or axial Hall probe. This device is used to measure the intensity and orientation of magnetic fields. It can be used to validate magnet strength and orientation at a specific location.

BJA has unique custom built Helmholtz coils that test a magnet for total flux. Developed by German physicist Hermann von Helmholtz, this device consists of two solenoid electromagnets on the same axis. In addition to quantifying magnetic fields, Helmholtz coils are used in scientific apparatus to cancel external magnetic fields, such as the Earth's magnetic field.

Another exciting piece of testing equipment that BJA offers is the M Axis machine. Permanent magnetic properties such as the magnetic moment, remanence and magnetization direction of magnetic dipoles can be characterized with high precision. Automated solutions are available with this precision device. At BJA, we've got you covered for all of your magnetic testing needs!
